I’m so glad that my Mom and I have always been really close. Although we have had some rough patches in our relationship (but honestly, what Mom and daughter haven’t gone through some hard times together), the important thing is that we always work through our differences and get our relationship back to where it should be.
Earlier this year, we were talking on the phone, and we both realized that we had some time off of work. We talked about it for awhile, and we decided that it would be fun for us to take a trip together. We had taken trips together before, and they had always gone really well. Once we decided that we were going to take a trip together, I got online and started looking through potential trip destinations. Since our trip when going to be during the summer, when I came across a discount deal that included a flight, hotel and rental car for Fort Lauderdale, I knew that this would be a great trip for us to take. My Mom agreed with me, and we ended up having an amazing time together in Fort Lauderdale.
